The Gauteng Education Department announced that it is now prepared to deal with enormous capacities of applications when its online admissions portal for grade one and eight pupils goes live on Tuesday morning.
Parents can log on this www.gdeadmissions.gov.za to apply for either Grade 1 or Grade 8.
Any online application submitted before the admission period is open would be invalid and parents would need to resubmit their applications. Admission centres that have been established in the various districts across Gauteng will operate during business hours from Mondays to Fridays.
