Glencore South Africa’s Coal Division offers community learnerships to dynamic, result orientated students in the following trades:
- Auto Electrician
- Boilermaker
- Diesel Mechanic
- Electrician
- Fitter
- Rigger

Requirements
- N2 with a 50% pass mark in all subjects compulsory.
- Must be in possession of a Code EB (08) driver’s license.
In line with the Company’s Social and Labour Plans as well as Employment Equity targets, successful candidates will come from the local communities where Glencore Operations South Africa Coal Division-owned and managed operations are located.
The successful candidates must be in possession of a valid certificate of fitness or be fit enough to obtain one prior to commencement in this role as this is a requirement of the Mine Health & Safety Act.

- Certified copy of ID
- Copy of driver’s license
- N2 tertiary results (include statement of results with pass marks)
- Proof of residence
