Then Media24 is the place for you! We are looking for dynamic and energetic graduates wanting to specialise in software development (websites and mobile applications) to join the hub@media24 on a one-year contract whereby you will do 6 months of training and 6 months internship.
The candidates should be reliable self-motivators and show a true passion for IT and software development.
This position is based in Bandwidth Barn in Woodstock, Cape Town.
Minimum Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related (a must!).
- 6 – 12 months web development experience working with ASP.NET (Frameworks 4 and 3.5) C#, and PHP/ Node.js and good understanding of object oriented design and development principles.
- It is advantageous to have experience using JavaScript frameworks and AJAX techniques, experience in stored procedures and MS SQL Server, and experience in mobile development.
Skills & Competencies
- You should be an analytical thinker with creative problem solving abilities.
- You should be able to work in a fast paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
- You should be able to work well in a team and independently with a Can-Do attitude, and be reliable to ensure that projects within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner.
- You should also be flexible about working with new methodologies and technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
The candidates will be working in an agile environment, alongside a young, dynamic, multi-skilled team of Developers, Designers, and Product owners, in order to iteratively deliver sound technical solutions on a suite of web and mobile products across the business.
