Job description
New Media Publishing is looking for a fashion and décor intern to join their team. The main aim of the role is to provide a recent graduate with experience and exposure. It also offers the opportunity to work on a fantastic brand, Ackermans.

The role:
- Fashion and Décor
S/He may be asked to reference trends, fashion and décor shoot concepts, research articles, conduct images searches and assist on general creative of the magazine and blog.
- Fashion/décor store room
The fashion intern will need to maintain order in the store room.
- Merchandise
S/He may be asked to source, picture and check in/out Ackermans merchandise from stores and build good relationships with the various Ackermans staff members.
The fashion intern will be asked to assist the fashion team in checking merchandise in and out of the office.
- Props/locations
S/He will be asked to source, photograph and check in/out props or locations and build good relationships with the various prop houses and location agencies.
- Shoots
S/He will need to assist on models casting days.
The fashion intern will assist on fashion and décor shoots as and when required.
- Office admin
S/he may be asked to assist on general office admin, job bag creation, call sheets, PO generation and other ad hoc responsibilities.
Requirements
- Driver’s licence and car.
- Internet resourceful.
- Preferably studied fashion/design.
- Patient positive attitude and team player
