Qualifications:

Applicant must be currently unemployed, but have been previously employed contributing to Unemployment Insurance Fund, or
Applicant must be currently unemployed, and have never been employed
Complete Grade 11 qualification with English, Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical or Engineering Science, applicable trade theory subject such as Electro Techniques/Electricians Work/Technica Electrical/Electrical Technology and an additional trade related technical subject such as Technical Drawings/Industrial Electronics all passed, or
Complete N2 qualification with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Engineering Science, trade theory subject such as Electro Techniques/Electricians Work/Technica Electrical/Electrical Technology, an additional trade related technical subject such as Technical Drawings/Industrial Electronics, and evidence of English on at least grade 11, all passed, or
Complete NCV Level 3 qualification with English, Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical or
Engineering Science, trade theory subject such as Electro Techniques/Electricians Work/Technica Electrical/Electrical Technology and an additional trade related technical subject such as Technical Drawings/Industrial Electronics all passed.
